Obituary

Pete Santos Chavez Longoria, 56, of Sundown passed from this life on February 26, 2021.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at South Plains Church in Levelland.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born December 4, 1964 in Floresville, Texas to Pantaleon Servin “Leon” Longoria and Juanita Chavez “Janie” Longoria.  Pete loved the Lord and spread the gospel wherever he could.  He was generous and loved those that were less fortunate.

Pete loved Lisa, his wife of 10 years, which were the happiest years of his life.  He was the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Paula and son-in-law, Marco; and a son, Leon.

He loved to play cards, build things, and loved to bless others.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa R. Longoria; daughter, Paula Nicole L. (Marco) Garcia; son, Leon Longoria; brother, Martin (Deborah) Longoria; sisters, Mary L. (Henry) Hinojosa, Isable L. (Jacob) Lara, Josephine “Josie” (F.J.) Longoria, Sarah (Jesse) Resendez, Amelia Blackwell, and Maria Elena (Miguel) Soto; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and church family.
